Drake has returned to his acting roots with a guest appearance in season two of The Office Movers, now streaming on Crave. The Toronto native shared a clip of his cameo on Instagram Friday (Nov. 7), showcasing a playful back-and-forth with the show’s co-creator Jermaine “Jae” Richards over the word “guy.”
In the scene, Drake hilariously struggles to explain what he means by “real guys,” eventually cracking, “Maybe I’m not even speaking English… Maybe I’m speaking Guyanese. Everything we use to live is made in Guywan. I’m losing it, bro.” The moment quickly spread across social media, earning laughs from Boi-1da, Oz, Reese LaFlare, Chinese Kitty, and Niko Brim in the comments.
Created by brothers Jae and Trey Richards, The Office Movers follows their misadventures working for an office moving company in Toronto. Bell Media’s Justin Stockman praised the series for its sharp, culturally aware humor, adding that Drake’s cameo adds to its local authenticity.
This isn’t Drake’s first time collaborating with the Richards brothers—he previously sampled their work on More Life in 2017. The cameo also continues his long-running relationship with comedy and television, from his early Degrassi days to appearances in Dave and other series.
