Drake has launched his first Eau de Parfum, Summer Mink, through his Better World Fragrance House. The fragrance is available now for $148 on the brand’s website and will arrive at Ulta Beauty locations across North America starting May 12.

To promote the release, Drake appears in a new commercial where he explores the process of creating the ideal scent. After settling on the final version, he reacts enthusiastically, saying, “F–k. F–k, that’s good. That’s it. That’s it.” Fans have responded positively on social media, praising both the scent and Drake’s performance in the ad.

According to Michael Carby, senior perfumer at Givaudan, the scent blends warm, creamy base notes with cold spices and citrus to reflect “a multinational culture with aspirations toward a Better World.” The commercial has generated buzz not just for the fragrance, but also for Drake’s on-screen charisma and his engagement with fans through the brand’s Instagram.

In addition to his fragrance work, Drake is preparing a new solo album. During a livestream with Adin Ross earlier this month, he confirmed he’s working on the project and described it as “a slap.” On Instagram, Drake hinted that the upcoming album represents a “new chapter,” suggesting the music may address personal themes and unresolved tensions from recent months.
