Drake presented Fabolous with flowers and credited the Brooklyn rapper as having a significant impact on his career.
On Sunday, January 15, the Her Loss hitmaker posted a series of pictures of Loso along with some kind comments to his Instagram Stories. Loso is the writer of the Summertime Shootout lyrics.
Drake commented with a picture of a young Fab sporting a New Jersey Nets jersey, a loose white T-shirt, a durag, and a backwards fitting cap, “Wouldn’t go anywhere without this dude real shit @myfabolouslife.”
He added: “Was really just taking in how much you influenced everything for me.”
Along with a photograph of Fabolous on the cover of Smack DVD magazine in 2005, Drake also shared a flashback image of him dressed in an Orlando Magic jersey and matching cap.
