Drake Announces He Will Tour In 2023

Drake has pledged to be active in 2023, reiterating his promise to go on tour the following year.

Given that he last went on tour in 2018 with Migos for the Drake & The Three Migos Live Tour, Drizzy appeared to be giddy with enthusiasm to go on tour in 2023 during a live interview on Saturday (December 17) with online betting and gambling website Stake.

Drake made a comment about how much more fulfilling traveling is than producing music when talking about his future live performances, despite the fact that he has produced two No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 this year between Honestly Nevermind and the 21 Savage joint albums Her Loss.

“Tour. Ah, man, I can’t wait,” he said in response to his plans for 2023. “You know, it’s so unfortunate. The other day I was rehearsing a bunch of days and one of the shows got pushed back. But yeah, man, I’m just looking forward to going. It’s like one thing to make the music but to see it is the most gratifying feeling.”

Drake’s ambitions to end 2022 with a few private concert experiences have been put on hold as a result of recent unforeseen circumstances and apparent production delays.

Drake’s Apollo Theater performance, which was originally scheduled for November 11 but was postponed to coincide with TakeOff’s funeral, was honored. Then, after the performance was moved to consecutive nights on December 8 and 9, production issues are said to have caused still another delay, which resulted in the exclusive two-night live performance being moved to January 21 and 22 of 2023.

Drake is currently on a record-breaking tour that is establishing his status as one of the best-selling solo artists of all time, so it is easy to see why he is so excited to embark on a tour. Drake recently surpassed fellow commercial titan Eminem to become the highest-certified singles artist in RIAA history.

On December 8, Drizzy received 10 further awards from the Recording Industry Association of America, bringing his overall amount of singles sold to 184 million.

With that number, Drake surpasses Eminem, who was previously given the honor in March after selling 166 million copies of all of his singles. Two diamond certifications for “Hotline Bling” and “One Dance,” marking sales of at least 10 million copies each in the United States, are among Drizzy’s unprecedented RIAA haul. Drake has now earned at least five diamond singles, making him only the third artist in history to do so.
