Drake has announced his return to Australia for the Anita Max Wynn Tour, marking his first visit to the country since 2017. Speaking during a livestream with gaming streamer xQc on November 24, Drake revealed the tour will begin on February 9, 2025, and run through early March.
“Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast… February 9 ’til like… March something,” the rapper shared, though specific dates and venues are yet to be confirmed. This tour follows his Boy Meets World Tour, which marked his last Australian performances.
The tour’s name is inspired by a viral moment from Drake’s December 2023 Kick livestream, where he introduced an alter ego, Anita Max Wynn. The name, a pun on the gambling term “I need a max win,” has since become a fan favorite.
During the livestream, Drake also gave an update on his upcoming joint album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, revealing, “Me and Party’s album is 75 percent done. Album sounds incredible—it’s the sound people know and love us for.” This project was first announced during a Toronto performance in August.
