To woo the special women in their lives, Dom Kennedy and TeeFLii have teamed up on the song “Lay You Down”; you can listen to it below.
Dom and his longstanding vocal partner released the music video for the upbeat hit, which was produced by Mike and Keys, on Friday, June 23.
Through the graphic, both men set off on a day filled with activities in Los Angeles, including mingling with attractive ladies, driving around in a lowrider, and grabbing lunch at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles.
Even though Dom Kennedy is rhyming a little faster than usual, the uptempo song still allows for the presence of his distinctive flow. On the hook, TeeFLii’s distinctive vocals transport the chord progression to a different world.
The new single is taken from the duo’s I Love Stocker album, which was released on the same day as “Lay You Down.” The West Coast collaborators keep the features simple on the album’s 10 tracks, only having Diamond Ortiz and TROY NKA make an appearance.
