Doja Cat is set to begin her first-ever world tour this November with the Vie World Tour, announced Thursday (Aug. 21). The tour will support her upcoming album Vie, which arrives Sept. 26.
The Vie World Tour will visit several international cities, with dates confirmed in Japan, Thailand, Australia, and other locations across Asia and Oceania. The run begins Nov. 18 in Auckland, New Zealand, and concludes Dec. 21 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Pre-sale tickets will be available starting Monday (Aug. 25) through DojaCat.com.
To mark the announcement, Doja Cat also shared the album’s lead single “Jealous Type.” The track was produced by Jack Antonoff and Y2K, and had previously been previewed in her campaign with Marc Jacobs. The album is set to enter a competitive release window, arriving shortly before Taylor Swift’s The Life of A Showgirl and Cardi B’s Am I The Drama?
Vie follows Doja Cat’s 2023 project Scarlet and signals a deliberate shift back toward pop music, while incorporating personal reflection and experimental sounds. In interviews, she described the record as exploring themes of love, romance, sex, and self-reflection. Musically, it draws from retro ’80s and ’90s textures with synth-pop and lo-fi influences, while blending them with modern production.
Recent live performances have already offered a preview of the album. At Outside Lands, Doja introduced tracks such as “Cards” and “Take Me Dancing,” giving audiences an early sense of the album’s range. She also pointed to “Gorgeous” as a favorite track, which may guide the next stage of the project’s rollout.
While the announced tour dates cover just over a month, industry expectations suggest a second leg will likely be announced, depending on the reception of the new music and initial ticket demand.
