Doechii and Tyler, The Creator have reunited on a new track titled “Get Right,” which debuted during Louis Vuitton’s Paris Fashion Week runway show. The song, produced by Pharrell Williams, played during the show and marks the trio’s latest collaboration following Tyler and Doechii’s work on “Balloon” from Chromakopia.
Pharrell, who is Louis Vuitton’s creative director, has worked with both artists previously and also styled Doechii for the 2024 Met Gala, where she wore a checkerboard-patterned look in line with the “Black Dandyism” theme.
Tyler had previously brought Doechii out as a guest during his Camp Flog Gnaw set, reinforcing her growing recognition and fan support. The livestreamed performance drew attention to her live presence and unique style.
Doechii’s rise has been marked by standout performances on NPR’s Tiny Desk, The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, and Genius Open Mic. She also gained momentum from her hit singles “What It Is (Block Boy),” “Denial Is A River,” and a collaboration with Katy Perry.
As “Get Right” teases a new sound direction, Doechii’s continued collaboration with forward-thinking artists like Tyler and Pharrell highlights her evolving place in music and fashion.
