Dmx, Pop Smoke, And More Are Honored By Wiz Khalifa At The Puerto Rico Festival

During a recent performance, Wiz Khalifa paid tribute to DMX, Pop Smoke, and other notable rappers who have died away.

At the Sauce Boyz Fest in Puerto Rico, the Pittsburgh rapper captivated his audience with a thrilling performance. However, Wiz’s tribute to some of rap’s deceased idols was what truly got the audience going.

His number-one song “See You Again” was playing in the background as he displayed different musicians on a screen he had set up on stage, including Pop Smoke and DMX. The tribute also featured King Von, Nipsey Hussle, Young Dolph, and other musicians.

In other developments, Wiz Khalifa apparently collaborated with well-known producer Lex Luger on some heat. There is a cause, though, for why it hasn’t been released yet.

Last week, a video clip from The Off Wrld Podcast featuring discussion of the unreleased song was posted to the official Twitter account for Wiz’s Taylor Gang brand.

The co-host introduced the moment from Pharrell’s festival by saying, “At Something In The Water, Lex Luger played some unreleased shit he had with Wiz and Wiz need to drop that.” “Wiz doesn’t even rap like that anymore, so I can tell it’s old simply by hearing it. However, this is ridiculous, like.

Wiz clarified how Young Thug’s detention affected the song’s release with a retweet.

In reference to his 2022 release, he added, “This was supposed to be on Multiverse.” I had been anticipating a verse from Thug, but his legal issues prevented its release.

The rapper is also getting ready to work on a Khalifa Kush collaboration with another well-known Khalifa.

The “Black and Yellow” rapper shared a picture of himself with former adult film star Mia Khalifa on Twitter in April. There, he declared that the two will be working together, however it wouldn’t be a musical partnership.
