DJ Khaled appears to be back on track with his upcoming album Aalam of God, after a delay sparked by Drake publicly stating he hadn’t cleared his features. On Thursday (May 22), Khaled shared a new teaser trailer featuring viral influencer Ashton Hall, fueling speculation that the album may now be closer to release.
In the video, Khaled and Hall jog alongside two Maybachs, with Hall keeping pace and Khaled gradually falling behind. The Miami producer, shirtless in the scene, captioned the post simply: “Album Mode.” Hall is known for his 5 a.m. routine that includes working out and ice water face baths, which helped grow his popularity online.
Earlier trailers for Aalam of God included high-profile cameos from Jay-Z, Rihanna, and actors Mark Wahlberg and Anthony Ramos. Its lead single, “Supposed to Be Loved,” dropped in late 2023.
Aalam of God follows 2022’s God Did, and is expected to be Khaled’s final studio album. Over the course of 13 previous albums, he’s collaborated with stars like Beyoncé, Kanye West, Nas, and Lil Wayne, while still trying to secure a long-desired feature from Eminem. Khaled’s sons have served as executive producers on recent projects.
Starting as a Miami radio DJ, Khaled rose to prominence in the 2000s through mixtapes and album hits like “I’m So Hood” and “I’m the One.” He has since expanded into TV and brand partnerships. While no official release date has been announced, the new teaser suggests Aalam of God may arrive sometime in 2025.
