DJ Khaled Deletes Post Announcing Drake’s Involvement In New Album After Confusion.

DJ Khaled’s album promotion has encountered some confusion following a social media post. On Tuesday, February 4, Khaled shared a seven-minute action video starring Mark Wahlberg and Anthony Ramos, announcing that Drake contributed two songs to Khaled’s upcoming 14th studio album, Aalam of God.

However, Drake responded to the post, suggesting there had been a mix-up. The Toronto rapper commented on the now-deleted Instagram post, stating, “Must be @drakebell,” referencing former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell, implying Khaled might have confused him with someone else.

Though the Instagram post was removed, Khaled’s tweet with the same caption remains on X (formerly Twitter), with Drake tagged in the post.

As Drake embarks on his Anita Max Win Tour in Australia and New Zealand, he’s been making headlines for his tour stops. At one performance, he walked on stage wearing a black hoodie with bullet holes and smoke trailing behind him, stating, “Drizzy Drake is very much still alive.” This comment seemed to reference his public rivalry with Kendrick Lamar and a lawsuit against Universal Music Group.

Drake also altered lyrics to his song “Nonstop” to take a jab at NBA star LeBron James, who has supported Lamar. During his tour, Drake revealed the title and release date of his collaboration album with PartyNextDoor.

As Khaled’s album rollout continues, it remains to be seen if the two will address the situation publicly. Drake’s next tour stop will be at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on February 9, the same day as Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show. Both Khaled and Drake’s teams have been contacted for further comment.
