Dame Dash Explains Why $1m 'isn't Enough'

Dame Dash has provided some financial guidance on how to maintain a millionaire status, which he says is more difficult than initially attaining it.

In an interview with hairstylist Shanita Robinson as part of her Get Humbled series on Sunday (July 16), the co-founder of Roc-A-Fella shared some money advice.

What I want to know now is how much bread you want to make. And because there are individuals you might need to take care of, I don’t think it’s a bad thing to desire to make a lot of money,” Dame said.

Robinson retorted that she was only hoping to join the millionaire club, but Dash soon cut her off by adding that reaching that milestone alone wasn’t sufficient.

“We’re dreaming,” he said. “Let me explain what one million bucks accomplishes. You are not a millionaire if you walk into the shop and buy a 25-cent bag of potato chips. You don’t have a million dollars just because you spent one.

You desire a couple because you want to keep your rich status. Because your bills increase as soon as you start making millions. You die from the carrying cost of stuff.

Growing up mopping floors in New York City, creating the Roc-A-Fella business, and then experiencing the subsequent 2004 Roc split with JAY-Z are all things that Dame Dash has experienced on the financial front.
