CWTFB Radio Reviews Jaffe’s “Hoffa 2”: Solid Production, Room for Lyrical Growth.

#RedCupsAndRatings - Jaffe “Hoffa 2” 🥤🥤🥤.7

Rapper Jofy dropped his album “Hoffa 2” recently, and Charlie Masheen & Kash took a deep dive into it in episode 227 of CWTFB Radio. Kash commended the production of the album, with particular praise going to the Hum Beats. Jofy’s content stays true to his style, focusing on real life experiences and the player lifestyle.

However, Kash identified some areas for improvement, highlighting that the engineering wasn’t matching the production. In certain songs, like “Don Hofa,” and “Ludacris,” Jaffe appears to be struggling to keep up with the beat rather than riding it with his flow. The lyrics themselves could also pack a stronger punch according to Kash. Lines that seemed intended to be impactful landed a bit flat.

Despite these weaknesses, Kash highlighted some tracks he enjoyed. “Bumpy Johnson,” “Mistakes,” and “Lost Prayer” (praised for being a strong closer) were all mentioned favorably.

While commending the album’s strong points, Charlie challenged Jaffe to reach his full potential. He believes the artist can elevate his game with tighter timing, more focused concepts, and a more polished overall execution in future projects. Overall, “Hoffa 2” received a 3.7 out of 5 Red Cups from the crew.
