The sixth entry in French Montana’s Coke Boys mixtape series will be released this month as a Gangsta Grillz tape, the artist has confirmed.
DJ Drama revealed the release date of the project by sharing a sneak peek of a brand-new music video on Instagram. The leader of the Coke Boys had originally intended for Coke Boys 6: Money Heist Edition to debut in December, but the deadline passed without any new material.
Drama, however, stated on Monday (January 2) in the Instagram post noted above that the mixtape will now be released on Friday (January 6).
“2023 New Year…Same Hustle Droppin 1/6,” he wrote. “@frenchmontana ‘Coke Boys 6…Money Heist Edition’ Gangsta Grillz…I Gave Yall A Chance To Catch Up…What Happened.”
French Montana’s first full-length release since his Montega LP with Harry Fraud, which was released in June of last year, will be Coke Boys 6.
French has been keeping himself busy by striving to enhance the Ugandan healthcare system in addition to creating new music. The Bronx rapper was given the 2022 Innovator Award in October at the Museum of the Moving Image’s annual Pencils of Promise Gala for his humanitarian work in the African nation.
