“CHROMAKOPIA” Returns: Tyler, The Creator’s Reissued Album Jumps 112 Spots

Tyler, The Creator’s CHROMAKOPIA has made a dramatic return to the Billboard 200, jumping 112 positions to land at No. 5 more than a year after its release. The album, which previously sat at No. 117, now marks its 54th week on the chart with 51,000 units earned and a total of 1.75 million since debut.

Originally released in November 2024, CHROMAKOPIA opened at No. 1 and held the top spot for three weeks. It was also ranked No. 2 on Complex’s list of the best albums of 2024. The resurgence follows the October 2025 reissue featuring the long-awaited streaming addition of “Mother.”

In his note to fans, Tyler revealed that CHROMAKOPIA was intended to be his “last album for a very long time,” with plans to “disappear and only pop out for movie roles.” Those plans changed when he dropped DON’T TAP THE GLASS less than a year later, expanding his sonic range once again.

Now, CHROMAKOPIA is up for multiple 2026 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, Best Rap Album, and Best Album Cover. Tyler’s DON’T TAP THE GLASS also received a nomination for Best Alternative Music Album, placing him among a diverse lineup that includes Bad Bunny, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, and Sabrina Carpenter.
