Chris Brown Celebrates 36th Birthday With Third Diamond Certification For 'Look at Me Now’.

Chris Brown turned 36 on Monday (May 5), and marked the occasion with a major milestone: his 2011 single “Look at Me Now” has officially been certified diamond by the RIAA.

The track, featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, appears on Brown’s F.A.M.E. album and now surpasses 10 million units sold in the U.S. Produced by Afrojack and Diplo, the song previously went 8x platinum in 2021. It’s now Brown’s third diamond single, following “No Guidance” and “NOSTÁLGICO.”

“Look at Me Now” peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, topped the Hot Rap Songs and R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts, and its video—directed by Colin Tilley—has racked up nearly 580 million YouTube views. Diplo recalled the track’s rise, saying it evolved from a mixtape beat to a radio hit once Busta and Wayne got involved.

The certification marks Busta Rhymes’ first diamond plaque and Lil Wayne’s fourth. Meanwhile, Chris Brown is preparing for his Breezy Bowl XX global stadium tour, kicking off June 8 in Amsterdam with support from Jhené Aiko, Bryson Tiller, and Summer Walker.
