Cherry World Launches New Fashion Brand Inspired By California's Subcultures.

Cherry World, a new fashion brand founded by Glen Luchford, Josh Levine, Fergus Purcell, and Fran Burns, is making its debut with a collection that draws inspiration from California’s vibrant subcultures, including punk, surf, skate, and art. The brand aims to capture the eclectic spirit of Los Angeles through a range of wardrobe staples, all crafted in LA with high-quality materials.

The debut collection includes super-soft washed cotton hoodies, premium denim, and wool-cashmere knitwear. Each piece features bold graphic designs by Purcell, with the brand’s signature scorpion logo prominently displayed on long-sleeved tees and zip-up track tops. Playful elements such as green pot leaf motifs and subverted versions of the Stars and Stripes add a rebellious edge to the collection. Reworked American classics like the Varsity Jacket, now featuring a ‘CW’ monogram, and boxy bowling shirts with whimsical line drawings also stand out. Additional items include a logo football shirt, windbreakers, baseball caps, and board shorts.

Co-founder Josh Levine explains that the brand’s concept is rooted in celebrating the subcultures and countercultures of their youth. The collection pays homage to cultural icons like Black Flag and Harvey Milk while embracing the creative freedom and lifestyle of California.
