Chase The Chicken’s ‘Look Who I Found’ Spotlights Boston Rapper SeeFour.

Chase The Chicken’s Look Who I Found series recently turned its focus on Boston’s own SeeFour (Calogano Chambers), a rapper from Mattapan whose music blends hip-hop, R&B, and jazz influences.

SeeFour began rapping at just 12 years old, making his name in local cyphers, school rap battles, and community events before opening for artists including Jay Rock, Reason, Tyga, and D Smoke. Known as “Spirit” for his commanding stage presence, he has performed over 200 shows nationwide and is regarded as one of New England’s most dynamic live performers.

Speaking on the origin of his stage name and the direction of his sound, SeeFour reflected on bridging genres and emphasized a word he uses often: livelihood. He explained that it represents his environment and the different sides of the spectrum, saying, “It’s all about a product, where you from, how you taking it on and how you carrying it for your city, for your people, for whoever you represent.”

His discography includes his debut album Mature, the collaborative EP Red Line, and his critically acclaimed Spirit of a Warrior, now available in a deluxe edition. In 2024, SeeFour reached a national audience as a contestant on Netflix’s Rhythm + Flow, representing Boston’s hip-hop culture. He shared that he secured his place on the show with help from an individual named Jasmine.

He also offered a message of positivity: “It’s about what fits you, so don’t listen to outsiders. Go figure it out yourself, stay inside, with you and understand what you gotta do.”

SeeFour’s mission is simple: elevate Boston, challenge stereotypes, and create a legacy that inspires the next generation.
