The Boston Jazz Foundation has announced the full artist lineup and set times for the 5th Annual Charles River Jazz Festival, set to take place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 12 PM to 9 PM at Herter Park Amphitheater in Allston.
The all-day, free outdoor festival is returning to the banks of the Charles River with a wide range of performances from local and internationally recognized jazz acts, along with food trucks, art vendors, and family-friendly programming.
Headliners for this year’s festival include acclaimed trumpeter Keyon Harrold, the Freelance, and pianist Christian Sands. Also on the bill are Brazilian duo Caio e Jess, drummer-composer Ivanna Cuesta, and artists from the Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice.
The event, hosted annually by the Boston Jazz Foundation, has grown into one of the city’s most anticipated summer music gatherings. Set against the backdrop of the Charles River at 1175 Soldiers Field Road, the Herter Park Amphitheater provides an open-air venue for audiences to experience live jazz in a laid-back, community-driven atmosphere.
In addition to music, the festival will feature a lineup of local food vendors, including Chubby Chickpea, Bon Me, Yumtastic Yum Yum, Cini Coffee, Lordya Gourmet, and the Boston Ice Cream Truck, offering a range of eats and treats throughout the day.
Admission is first come, first served, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure their seats and plan for a full day of music, food, and connection.
