Chance This year marks the tenth anniversary of The Rapper’s breakthrough mixtape Acid Rap, and the Chicago native has organized a concert to mark the occasion.
Who wants a show?, Chance posed to his followers on Instagram on February 1 as “Jealous Guy” by Donny Hathaway played over a montage of scenes from the Acid Rap period.

Even though Acid Rap was released before the era of streaming, three months after its release it still managed to chart at No. 63 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums because to illegal downloads from iTunes and Amazon. The mixtape website DatPiff served as the project’s official home, and it has subsequently been recognized there as a “diamond” with over 1 million downloads.
