U.K. rapper Central Cee has officially announced the release date for his highly anticipated debut album, Can’t Rush Greatness, set to drop on January 24, 2025 via Columbia Records. This album marks his first major project since his 2023 mixtape 23 and is available for pre-order on his website.
The album, recorded across multiple locations over the past year, will feature guest producers and include an appearance by fellow U.K. rapper Dave. The two previously collaborated on the hit single “Sprinter” in 2023, which topped the U.K. Singles Chart for nine weeks and reached No.10 on the Billboard Global 200.
Central Cee has been active in 2024, releasing collaborations with Lil Baby (“BAND4BAND”), Ice Spice on her debut album Y2K, Afrobeats star Asake on “Wave,” and RAYE on “Moi” in September. Although the tracklist for Can’t Rush Greatness has not been revealed, it’s confirmed that his recent single “One By One” won’t appear on the album.
Central Cee will also headline Primavera Sound Festival in June 2025, joining artists like Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, and Chappell Roan.
