She confirmed this plan by writing, “OK AFTER MY ENGLISH ALBUM,” on June 24.
Cardi B has previously rapped in Spanish on tracks like Ozuna’s “La Modelo” and Shakira’s “Punteria.”
The future of her sophomore album remains uncertain. In May, she tweeted that she wouldn’t release an album this year, preferring to relax and enjoy her summer. However, her representatives contradicted this claim in her Rolling Stone cover story.
On June 20, she teased fans by asking them to guess the title of her upcoming album, sparking hope for progress on the project.
