Cardi B has confirmed she is expecting a child with her boyfriend, NFL star Stefon Diggs.
The rapper shared the news in an interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings that aired Wednesday (Sept. 17). When asked about the speculation surrounding her, Cardi responded, “Yes, I am. I’m having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs. I’m excited, I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
She spoke about her relationship with Diggs, saying, “Me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other. We’re like in the same space in our careers. We just wanna keep doing it and that’s just how we both are.”
Cardi explained why she delayed addressing the pregnancy rumors, noting that she wanted to confirm the baby’s health first. She added that she had not told her parents before the interview, joking that she was nervous to share the news with them despite knowing they both like Diggs.
The rapper also shared that the baby is expected before her Little Miss Drama Tour begins in February 2026. “Even when I’m pregnant, I’m very, very ready,” she said. “As soon as I give birth, tour rehearsal starts. I don’t come from weak women.”
The announcement comes days ahead of the release of her sophomore album, Am I the Drama?. Cardi closed the interview by telling fans, “Now that I’ve talked about it, y’all better get my album… so I can buy Pampers and diapers.”
Cardi B is already a mother of three children with her ex, Offset: daughter Kulture (born 2018), son Wave (born 2021), and daughter Blossom (born 2024). This will be her fourth child.
