Cardi B is stepping back into the spotlight with her new single “Outside,” arriving Friday, June 20.
The Bronx rapper shared the release date on Instagram with the caption “We OUTSIDE this Friday,” alongside cover art showing a summer NYC sidewalk scene, complete with a gushing fire hydrant, dominoes, red Solo cups, and other party remnants.
“Outside” is Cardi’s first solo single since 2024’s “Enough.” She teased the track for months, with fans eager for the full version. In one lyric, she hints at a fresh start post Offset: “I’ve been cuffed up too long, let me remind n—as.”
So far in 2025, Cardi has featured on the Smurfs Movie soundtrack and Pardison Fontaine’s “Toot It Up.” Outside of music, she’s been seen at the Met Gala, confirmed a new relationship with NFL player Stefon Diggs, and shared photos of her baby Blossom for the first time.
“Outside” is expected to be a contender for summer anthem status.
