Cardi B has officially announced the release date for her long-delayed second album. Am I The Drama? will arrive on September 19 via Atlantic Records, marking her first full-length since 2018’s Invasion of Privacy.
The announcement followed the release of her new single “Outside,” which dropped on June 22. Cardi teased the album with a message reading “Time’s Up” and revealed the cover art—featuring her in a red bodysuit and a raven perched on her shoe.
The album’s rollout has faced multiple setbacks over the years. Cardi previously teased release windows in 2020, 2022, and 2023, but delays related to pregnancy, guest features, and creative insecurity pushed the project back.
Invasion of Privacy was a breakthrough debut that helped usher in a new era for female rap, paving the way for artists like Megan Thee Stallion, Latto, and GloRilla. With Am I The Drama?, Cardi returns to reclaim her space in that movement.
The album will be available on September 19. More details are expected in the coming weeks.
