Cam’ron Previews First Song From Joint Project With Ma$E, Announces July 4 Release For ‘willie Burgers’.

Cam’ron has shared a preview of the first track from his upcoming collaborative EP with Ma$e, titled Willie Burgers. In a video posted to Instagram on Wednesday (March 19), the Harlem rapper performed a live snippet of the untitled song and announced that the project will be released on July 4.

The preview features Cam’ron rapping over a heavy instrumental produced by ADM Beatz, with a style similar to his early 2000s sound. During the snippet, he references several notable Harlem figures, saying:
“Shouts to Mason Betha, I’m Cameron Giles / I’m sorry, Richard Porter, I’m sorry, Kevin Chiles / I’m sorry, Bumpy Johnson, y’all always gettin’ cheddar / It come to Harlem, baby girl, nobody did it better.”

In the caption, Cam’ron wrote: “Harlem Fact check season. Sorry Muder, I had to give them a small sample,” hinting that more music is on the way. He also suggested he might release the full track on his YouTube show Talk With Flee, adding, “We got so many joints in da stash.”

Cam’ron had previously spoken about this project in 2023, revealing that he and Ma$e had recorded several songs together but had not released them due to Ma$e declining to move forward with the release. “Me and Ma$e got an album. He said we can’t put it out,” Cam’ron said on Instagram Live at the time. “We did six, seven songs. Then he says, ‘No.’”

Cam also mentioned that Ma$e has a large number of unreleased tracks, including solo material. “Ma$e got mad songs. Them shits is hot too… What he holding onto them for? I can’t answer that.” According to Cam’ron, Ma$e has chosen not to make those songs public, even though some have been shared privately between the two.

Some of those unreleased tracks could appear on Ma$e’s upcoming solo album, which would be his first full-length solo release in over two decades. The project is reportedly scheduled for release in May, coinciding with the start of Diddy’s sex trafficking trial.

The Willie Burgers EP marks the first official release from Cam’ron and Ma$e as a duo, following several collaborative appearances and the launch of their sports talk show It Is What It Is.
