Blaqbroadbureau(bbb) is launching a new interactive event series titled The Talent Show Tour: A Workshop Experience, with its inaugural gathering set for Saturday, July 26 at JustBook-ish.
Facilitated by artist and performer CalvinKleinCaterpillar the workshop will explore creativity, identity, and shared storytelling through a mix of guided conversation and hands-on artmaking.
The schedule is as follows:
- Doors & Mingling: 3:30 PM
- Workshop Begins: 4:00 PM
- Closing: 5:30 PM
Designed to feel like a “late-night talk show,” the session will feature peer-reviewed questions meant to spark open conversation between participants — whether strangers or longtime friends. Attendees will also build and decorate paper TV boxes, complete with a Polaroid photo that acts as their “broadcast.” These pieces double as keepsakes to take home.
Other activities include:
- An icebreaker to get participants grounded
- Interview-style group conversations
- A creative station for folding and decorating paper TVs
- A photobooth for on-the-spot Polaroids
