Brooklyn rapper Breezy Lynn is stepping boldly into her own orbit — and on the latest episode of We Need to Talk with Nyla Symone, she breaks down everything from her debut independent project Earth to Breezy to navigating multiple love interests (with boundaries firmly in place).
The conversation, both hilarious and heartwarming, gives listeners a deeper look into the mind of one of New York’s most promising rising voices.
Breezy’s first independent release, Earth to Breezy, is a six-month labor of love, blending previously recorded tracks with fresh cuts. According to Breezy, the title is a reminder to block out the noise and distractions around her.
“It’s me in my world. Tuning out everything else,” she says.
Her favorite track? “When It’s Lit”—a banger that captures her confident and carefree spirit.
She also shouts out a few collaborators, including Jon (J1) on “I’m So Fly” and a playful skit with New York host Ray Ray. She’s already mapping out visuals for the full project, hinting at potential videos for every track.
While Breezy jokes about having “bubble guts” before a live set at The Bar Place, her stage fright didn’t stop her from delivering. She opens up about the pressure that comes with performing—especially at high-stakes venues like Barclays.
Still, she stays grounded by keeping her circle tight, maintaining boundaries, and distinguishing genuine supporters from clout-chasers.
“Boundaries are peace,” Breezy says matter-of-factly.
That mindset also applies to her love life. She admits to juggling multiple men but with clear communication and no strings attached.
Though active on Instagram and TikTok, Breezy isn’t big on oversharing. Her DMs? Seen. But replies are rare—and don’t expect read receipts either. She’s long deleted Facebook and treats social detoxing as a form of self-care.
After cashing her first rap check, Breezy splurged on “shark boots” and other wishlist items, but she now admits she’s working on managing her finances better.
With Earth to Breezy setting the tone, Breezy has her sights set on bigger things—like a 2025 tour and checking off personal goals she keeps tucked away in her phone notes.
And while her playlist currently includes Lil Durk’s latest project, she’s focused on building her own legacy in the rap game—on her own terms.
