Latin Kings of Boston : King Ace D' General

Jason Trimmins talked about King Ace the General, a rapper from Boston, and his connection to the Latin Kings gang in this episode.

The video mentions that the Latin Kings are one of the largest organizations in the Massachusetts prison system and they have a presence in many cities around the state including Boston. The Kings are a very structured organization with titles and ranks.

King Ace the General, whose real name is Ace, joined the Latin Kings at the age of 14 and became known as King Ace the General after surviving a shooting. He received his first state prison sentence as an adult and it was during this bid that he decided he wanted to become a rapper.

King Ace the General was caught up in a giant Federal RICO case called ‘Operation Thrown Down’ and was sentenced to 44 months in federal prison. Since getting out of prison, King Ace the General has been working on his rap career and his hard work is starting to pay off. His new song and video, ‘Outside’, is a hit and you’ll be hearing it blasting out of car stereos and backyard cookouts all summer long in Boston.
