Beat The Odds – Boston, a Creative Youth Development nonprofit, has been awarded a $135,000 grant from the Cummings Foundation, to be distributed over the next three years.
The funding will support the organization’s ongoing efforts to work with high-potential Boston youth, using trauma-informed, wraparound programming to foster healing, creativity, and personal growth.
In an announcement shared online, the organization wrote:
“We’re deeply grateful for the Cummings Foundation’s belief in our mission and their commitment to supporting Boston’s youth.”
Beat The Odds focuses on engaging young people through creative arts, mentorship, and culturally relevant programming designed to meet youth where they are—emotionally, mentally, and artistically.
The grant is part of the Cummings $30 Million Grant Program, which annually supports Massachusetts nonprofits across education, social justice, healthcare, and human services sectors.
