Prior to its Friday release, Bleu has made the tracklist for his upcoming album Tantra available (November 11).
On Tuesday, November 8, the rapper/singer, who is 28 years old, shared the 17-song tracklist for the next album on Instagram.
With appearances from Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, French Montana, and Fivio Foreign, Tantra is a star-studded affair.
With Ty Dolla $ign, Ne-Yo, Lucky Daye, and Kelly Rowland all appearing on the tracklist, the album also has a lot of R&B flavor.
In order to create anticipation for Tantra’s arrival, BLEU has already released a few singles, including “Soul Child” with Lil Wayne and the sappy “Love in the Way” with Nicki Minaj.
The collaboration’s first sneak peek was posted by Nicki on social media and includes a sample of the song “Whole” by Sam Tompkins. The Queen of Rap thanked Tompkins for his outrage when she heard Minaj spit over his music.
“Love in the Way” was earlier praised by BLEU as a “wonderful tune” with enough depth to “last forever.”
The Mobile, Alabama, native and Nicki really collaborated more than a year ago, but the excitement of landing one of his dream projects caused him to reveal it to the public too soon.
“We dnt have a song yet actually, tho y’all I just wanted to play some shit we was working on since we was in New York,” he tweeted. “Ain gotta verse just yet. And Ain mean for it to go viral I was just having a Lil moment with my fans and I was drunk talking to much lol.”
The release of Tantra will be BLEU’s first studio album since 2021’s Moon Boy, which had contributions from Drake, 2 Chainz, Gunna, Big Sean, Chris Brown, and others.
