BLACK COMME des GARÇONS Drops a New Nike Air Force 1 Collab.

BLACK COMME des GARÇONS is known for its simple yet bold designs, and its latest Nike collaboration sticks to that formula. The new BLACK CDG Air Force 1, part of the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, keeps things classic with an all-black look and some unexpected branding touches.

For the first time in a while, BLACK CDG adds noticeable branding to its Nike sneakers. The shoes feature “BLACK” text on the outside and all-caps “CDG” on the heel’s interior, a shift from its usual logo-free approach.

BLACK CDG collaborations typically focus on understated designs, favoring tonal black colorways on lesser-known Nike models. However, this Air Force 1 release embraces a more mainstream silhouette while still maintaining the label’s minimalist aesthetic.

The BLACK CDG line, launched in 2009 during the financial recession, was initially meant to offer signature COMME des GARÇONS pieces at more accessible prices. While its costs have since risen, the brand continues to release Nike collaborations each season. The BLACK CDG x Nike Air Force 1 is already selling out, retailing for £155 (about $200) at Dover Street Market.
