Bishop Toussaint shared a recap of an active August, highlighting back-to-back weekly shows, his work with Spark FM Online, community advocacy, and his continued journey as a student with Beat The Odds – Boston. He also noted progress on new music and the inspiration of witnessing new love during the summer, writing that he “loves being a summer baby.”
The month also carried a milestone for Toussaint. On Aug. 16th, he celebrated the one-month anniversary of his project Senior Sign Out: A Hard Knockin Graduation. The date coincided with his performance at the Odd Side Showcase, hosted by BTO Boston.
During the event, he performed “Come On!,” produced by GIB DJ which appears as the fourth track on the album and stands as one of his personal favorites. Toussaint hinted at the possibility of releasing an official video for the song.
He also gave credit to BTO, DJ Stix, and Maritza Flores for capturing the moment, while extending thanks to Bordeaux, Tkyosanye, and Isaiah Carlos Monroig for serving as his hype squad during the showcase.
