Connie Orlando, EVP of Specials, said this year marks 25 years of BET Awards. She called it a celebration of “impact, creativity, and Black culture” with major performances and a strong comedic host.

Wayne on Super Bowl Halftime Shows:
Lil Wayne recently shared he skipped Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl show, saying it didn’t draw him in. He also said he no longer wants to perform at one, calling past shows “perfect” and saying the moment has passed.
