Bestow Collection Teams Up With Surviveher To Empower Black Women And Raise Breast Cancer Awareness.

Bestow Collection, a Black-owned jewelry brand, has teamed up with the non-profit organization SurviveHer to increase awareness about breast cancer. Founder Jen Hayes Lee is committed to helping Black women, who are disproportionately affected by the disease, take proactive steps in their health journey. This collaboration was born from her connection with SurviveHer’s founder, Lyndsay Levingston, through the Support Your Girlfriends Community network.

Hayes Lee’s personal experience with breast cancer, having lost her mother to the disease in 2003, fuels her passion for this cause. She has since become a previvor after undergoing a preventive double mastectomy. According to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Black women are at a higher risk for aggressive forms of breast cancer, often being diagnosed at younger ages and later stages.

Through Bestow Collection, Hayes Lee encourages customers to “share your gifts” and raise awareness for breast cancer. The jewelry line aims to empower women to express their beauty while supporting this vital cause.

In solidarity with breast cancer survivors, Bestow Collection promotes the message to “rock their hoops.” This initiative is part of Hayes Lee’s broader effort, including The Golden Hoop project, which successfully raised over $10,000 for free genetic testing related to breast cancer risks.

The partnership with SurviveHer extends beyond Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with plans to empower women through education and advocacy. As part of this initiative, Bestow Collection will donate 50% of net proceeds from sales using the discount code 20SurviveHer to the nonprofit organization.
