Because Of His Concern That The Government Could Hack Them, Rick Ross Has Never Driven A Tesla

Despite being a car enthusiast, Rick Ross has made it clear that he won’t be getting behind the wheel of a Tesla anytime soon.

The head of the Maybach Music Group said in a video on Instagram on Tuesday (January 24) why he dislikes Elon Musk’s electric car fleet and believes the U.S. government is capable of hacking such high-tech automobiles.

“I won’t have a smart car — well, I won’t say I won’t have a smart car, but I’ve never ridden in a Tesla, never in my life,” he said. “And the reason being is because I’ve always had in the back of my mind, the government could tap into the brain of the car.”

Rozay then acted out a scene in which he is being sought by police and they only need to enter a code for the automobile to bring him in.

“‘Ok, where’s Rick?’” Ross said, imitating an officer on a computer. “‘He’s over there. Bring him in for questioning.’ N-gga like, ‘Where am I going? It’s leaving WingStop before the wings are even done!’ You pull up to the building and an agent walk out, ‘Hey, Rick.’”

Given that Rick Ross has a sizable automotive collection that includes a variety of vehicles in all sizes and forms, his comments are, to put it mildly, intriguing. On the grounds of his enormous Georgia house, the rap mogul’s first Rick Ross Promise Land Car & Bike Show was staged last year.
