Born in Selma, Alabama, Baby Dee grew up in Mobile and Wilcox County before briefly relocating to Kentucky and eventually settling in Dallas. Her time in these different places has shaped her approach to life and work, but she remains deeply connected to her Alabama roots as she builds her career.

Baby Dee’s music career took off with the success of her single “Passed Around,” which racked up 173,000 views, giving her the exposure she needed to establish herself. She’s also collaborated with Franchise Boys on a remix of “White Tee” and gained recognition through freestyles, notably for Zack Herz’s “Back of the Classroom” series. Her musical journey also includes connections to fellow Alabama rapper Honeycomb Brazy, showcasing her deep ties to her home state.

Looking forward to 2025, Baby Dee is focused on releasing her first full project, as she’s only dropped singles thus far. She’s also considering a move to Atlanta, seeing the city as an ideal market for her music and a place where she could expand her connections. Her musical influences include Atlanta rap, and she’s open to working with artists from the city, believing that collaborations will help take her sound further.
