Ayamra Media and City of Boston Host Virtual Workshop for Small Business Owners During Small Business Month.

In celebration of Small Business Month, Ayamra Media, in partnership with the City of Boston, hosted a free virtual workshop on Monday, May 19. Led by Armaya Doremi, M.S.—CEO and founder of Ayamra Media—the two-hour session titled “How to Run Your Social Media In-House Like an Agency” brought together small business owners from across the city for a focused training on building and managing a digital presence.

The workshop covered a range of topics designed to help business owners better navigate the social media landscape without relying on outside agencies. From platform-specific tools to practical content strategies and time-saving workflows, attendees were guided through actionable steps for managing their own brand presence online.

“This session was created for small businesses ready to take control of their digital storytelling,” Doremi said in her original announcement. “We wanted to offer real-world tools and knowledge that could be applied immediately.”

The free event, held virtually, was promoted through social platforms and supported by the City of Boston’s ongoing initiative to uplift and educate local entrepreneurs. Registration was open to the public, with dozens of attendees tuning in for the live session.

Doremi also acknowledged Aliesha Porcena, Director of Small Business for the City of Boston, for helping make the collaboration possible. “We’re grateful for the opportunity to support small businesses in meaningful ways,” Doremi noted.

The workshop marked another step in Ayamra Media’s mission to make high-level marketing knowledge accessible to early-stage business owners in Boston and beyond.
