Ludacris received the 2,756th star at 6426 Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, joining a select group of other rappers who have also been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The singer formerly known as Chris Lova Lova was joined by a star-studded bevy of supporters for the unveiling ceremony on Thursday (May 18), including LL COOL J, Queen Latifah, Vin Diesel, and Tyrese.

The “Roll Out” rapper, however, only started to cry when renowned Los Angeles radio DJ Ellen K stated that Karma, Luda’s eldest daughter, was about to express her views.

“I was trying not to cry. I really appreciated wearing my sunglasses today, he said. “I was amazed by that. It’s usually difficult for individuals to conceal information from me, so this came as a complete surprise. Like everyone knew except for me! I’m now a little furious. I have a little rage.

In addition, Ludacris praised his fellow rap peers and fans, noting that he was the result of the group of people who helped him develop into the person he is today.

In order to make everyone who helped me get here proud, he declared, “I will continue to shatter those stereotypes and show people it is possible.” “Because your efforts and dedication inspired me to work hard and get this star today. My inspiration comes from history and legacy.

“This means that I’ve left my mark, and my own private history is being recorded,” he concluded. It simply amazes me to be listed among these luminaries. Simply put, I’m grateful. Therefore, earning a star is a message. However, the even bigger statement to me is that we are all connected.

“And I am a culmination of the people who came out today for me, pushing me to inspire me and believing in me. So please keep applauding for me throughout the day; I’m going to need it for myself. Because without you, I am nothing.

The premiere of Fast X, the newest entry in the Fast & Furious series, which opens in theaters on Friday (May 19), followed by the unveiling of Ludacris’ star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Luda visited The Tamron Hall Show earlier this week to provide fans with some details on his much anticipated next album.

He assured the veteran journalist that music will be out before the year was through. “An album, probably next year,” I would say.

The rapper-turned-actor attributed the lengthy wait for a new Ludacris album to the popularity of the Fast & Furious movie series. “They continue to produce new films. What’s expected of me?

“When I was younger, I feel like some of my favorite rappers, once they get to a certain point, you almost wish that they were still kind of hungry and you feel like they don’t necessarily have it like they used to,” he continued. I had no desire to be that. Therefore, it’s crucial for me to demonstrate to the public that I still have it and am still hungry while doing all of these other things.
