Boston-based artist Arold has released his new EP titled “The Fruit,” now available on all streaming platforms. The six-track project includes Mandrill, Osaka Bay, Feel This, Guerrilla Ambition, Hook Line, and Special Science, which features fellow Boston artist, Reef.
The EP was entirely produced by DeevoDaGenius, with tracklisting by Clyde Black, and was developed in collaboration with SoundLab Recordings.
Reef, who appears on the final track, acknowledged the release in a recent post, noting his involvement on “Special Science” and commending Arold’s creative process, writing, “Dawg this whole tape is a fuckin banger y’all better be running this shit up. Arold talk to ’em. The Fruit EP out now! Everywhere.”
“The Fruit” adds to the growing catalog of collaborative work emerging from Boston’s independent scene, highlighting the ongoing partnerships between local artists, producers, and studios.
