Ari Lennox has officially kicked off her new musical chapter with the announcement of her third studio album, Vacancy, arriving January 23, 2026.
The R&B singer introduced the project on Thursday, October 23, alongside its soulful title track and confirmed “Under the Moon” as the album’s next single. The new song highlights Lennox’s romantic vulnerability and vocal range over a sleek, slow-tempo groove.
Vacancy marks Lennox’s first release under Interscope Records following her departure from J. Cole’s Dreamville label. The 15-track album includes “Soft Girl Era” and reunites her with producers Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox, who worked on her hit “Pressure.”
Ahead of her One Musicfest performance in Atlanta this weekend, Lennox teased a “Vacancy-themed surprise” via her new Instagram page, @vacancymotel. Fans can pre-order Vacancy now before its early 2026 release.
