Apple Music has marked its 10-year anniversary by unveiling the 500 most-streamed songs in the platform’s history. The list reflects a decade of global listening habits and features artists across multiple genres.
Ed Sheeran tops the chart with “Shape Of You,” the most-played song on Apple Music since its launch. The Weeknd follows with “Blinding Lights” and leads the R&B/soul category with nine entries. Drake takes the third spot with “God’s Plan” and holds the most appearances overall with 27 songs, including “One Dance” at No. 7.
Taylor Swift follows closely with 14 tracks on the list. Billie Eilish leads the Alternative genre, with “Bad Guy” ranking as the top-streamed track in that category and the highest by a female-identifying artist, at No. 10 overall.
In country music, Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” claims the top spot, while Morgan Wallen has the most entries with nine. Bad Bunny leads Latin representation with 10 songs on the list.
