Content creator Antonio recently sat down with Everybody Gotta Eat during the brand’s 6th Annual Cookout event, an ongoing celebration that has grown each year since its launch.
When asked about the origins of the cookout, the founder explained that it began as a friendly competition: “We just did it to battle.” He shared, explaining that they are just having fun to see who’s the best cook. What started as a casual challenge has since developed into a larger community gathering, elevating year after year.
On the subject of celebrity guests, he kept it open-ended. “Everybody gotta try it,” he said, noting that he’s grateful for anyone who supports the event and enjoys the food rather than naming a specific celebrity.
He also offered advice for aspiring culinary entrepreneurs. “Make sure you learn the business,” he emphasized, stressing the importance of handling paperwork and exploring spaces that can help people build their craft and business skills.
As the cookout continues to grow, Everybody Gotta Eat remains committed to bringing people together through food, culture, and community.
