AMPOLLO Forms New Advisory Board To Expand Global Music Strategy.

Music creation and fan engagement platform AMPOLLO has announced the formation of a new advisory board to support its global strategy. The company, launched in September 2024, offers tools for music collaboration, remixing, and fan interaction, aiming to strengthen the connection between creators and audiences.

Founded by Yoram Ben-Israel (CEO), Mark Alexiou (CMO), and Rebekah Pennington (Head of Partnerships and Growth), AMPOLLO has raised over £2.5 million (USD $3.2 million) in early-stage funding.

The new board features several key figures in the music industry:

  • Andy Saunders, Founder and CEO of Velocity Communications (Chair)
  • Emily White, founding team member and Senior Product Manager at Spotify
  • Colin Barlow, former Managing Director of RCA and Polydor
  • Karl Nielsen, artist manager and branding specialist
  • Charlie Rapino, international record producer and former Sony Music International A&R Director

AMPOLLO stated that the board will meet quarterly and offer guidance on international growth. It will also provide insight into music industry trends and help shape the company’s long-term strategy.

“We wanted to bring together a dynamic and varied pool of expertise from a broad range of backgrounds,” said Andy Saunders. “The goal is to better serve artists and producers while creating new experiences for music fans.”

CEO Yoram Ben-Israel added: “We launched AMPOLLO to help artists and producers discover new revenue streams through collaboration. Having a team of experienced advisors strengthens our commitment to a sustainable future for music.”

AMPOLLO’s features include stem separation, audio/video recording, customizable mixing desks, and social engagement tools. The platform supports producers, songwriters, and performers with tools for collaboration, discovery, and distribution, and aims to offer labels and rightsholders new marketing opportunities in an interactive format.
