Following the instantaneous sell-out of special vinyl pre-orders of his upcoming album, Logic has released a new song titled “Wake Up.”
In honor of the Maryland rapper’s independent debut album, Urban Outfitters has announced a special “varsity green vinyl” to be released on February 24. The new effort, dubbed College Park, is scheduled to be released. The company subsequently acknowledged on Twitter that there were only 500 copies available and that they were all snapped up in under a minute.
Prior to the release, Logic also teamed up with longtime collaborator Lucy Rose for his new track “Wake Up,” their fourth joint effort after working on the songs “Innermission” (2015), “Anxiety” (2017), and “Thank You” (2018).
Logic’s upcoming full-length album will reportedly have cameos from Norah Jones, Seth Macfarlane, Joey Badass, RZA, Statik Selectah, Redman, Fat Trel, and Bun B, according to a merchandise package that a fan uploaded on Twitter.
After severing connections with Def Jam in 2022, the rapper released the songs “Like a Playwright” and “Insipio” exclusively to YouTube. His most recent independent track, “Wake Up,” was just released.
