Album 'utopia' By Travis Scott Is Actually Under Lock & Key

Travis Scott has taken great care to prevent leakers from accessing his most recent album.

The “SICKO MODE” rapper was photographed by TMZ on Thursday (May 18) while he was exiting a store selling vinyl records in Hollywood, California.

A bodyguard carrying a briefcase with the phrase “Utopia” scrawled in Scott’s handwriting was accompanying him. The similar “Utopia” phrase on the soles of Scott’s shoes echoed this message.

According to a source close to the rapper, Scott planned to disclose the entire reveal of the album “sometime this summer.” This sparked conjecture that the bodyguard was promoting the master copy of his next album by the same name.

The long-awaited Utopia album by Travis Scott is finally scheduled for release, and Sylvia Rhone, CEO of Epic Records, has hinted that it would arrive at the end of the second quarter of 2023.

Billboard selected Rhone as their Executive of the Year for their 2023 Women In Music event and chatted with her about the label’s hip-hop division’s plans for the coming year, which featured La Flame.

In February, she said, “We have a new Travis Scott record, expected to come in June.”

Given Scott’s unpredictable nature, fans are still hesitant to accept the high-profile executive’s announcement of the release date for Trav’s fourth album.

Travis Scott, who teased Utopia’s release at a concert earlier this month by saying he’d be unleashing it after the other Cactus Jack signees, has been more outspoken about it.

Don Toliver batted lead-off and delivered his Love Sick CD to kick off the Cactus Jack release process in February.

We’ve got Faygo about to release a small EP that’s on the road, and soon after that, Utopia,” Scott said. “Sheck Wes you know the scouts is on the way.” So, having brought that message, I am eagerly awaiting the muthafuckas’ release of this stuff. Don T, I need you to send us to muthafuckin’ Love Sick heaven God dammit it!”
