Ahead Of The Super Bowl, The Kansas City Chiefs Coach Shows His Support For Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, And Master P

Another top rappers list has JAY-Z, Lil Wayne, and Master P on it, and this time it comes from an unexpected source: Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.

Coach Reid was questioned about the top three rappers alive by former NFL player Brandon Marshall at a news conference prior to Super Bowl LVII, in which the Chiefs will play the Philadelphia Eagles.

The 64-year-old thought about it for a moment before asking Marshall if the 1980s rap group The Fat Boys counted. Marshall responded negatively. The coach ultimately decided on JAY-Z, Lil Wayne, and Master P.

“JAY-Z. Shoot, I don’t know, Master P. Yeah, I’m going to name all the old ones,” Coach Reid joked before someone suggested Lil Wayne and Meek Mill. “I’ll take Lil Wayne. Wasn’t he just at our place? You gotta give me an easier question than that.”

On February 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, Super Bowl LVII will pit Coach Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs against his former Philadelphia Eagles squad. The Eagles’ playoff anthem is Lil Uzi Vert’s smash hit “Just Wanna Rock,” which serves as they enter the game.
