In advance of the release of new music, Anderson.Paak and Knxwledge are reuniting for a tour as NxWorries.
The Californian duo will tour the world this summer, performing in Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Niigata in addition to dates in Milan, London, Barcelona, Paris, Madrid, and other European cities.
Notably, they’ll be performing in the United States once more in June at the Blue Note Jazz Fest in St. Helena, California, as well as New York City.
On Monday, May 15,.Paak posted the information to his Instagram Stories with the remark, “See you on the road! @nxworries.”
In addition, NxWorries will debut a brand-new song titled “Daydreaming” on Thursday, May 18. It will be their first single to be released since October 2022’s “Where I Go” with H.E.R.
Earlier, Anderson.Paak disclosed he and Knxwledge were collaborating on a new NxWorries record.
In 2020, he said to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, “We’re working on a new one.” “I just recently visited that area. You understand what I mean? It has been coming in. There are several things about which we are quite happy.
Then, in January 2022,.Paak announced on Instagram that the duo was in “album mode,” to the delight of fans who included Black Thought, Amanda Seales from Insecure, and singer Lalah Hathaway.
Yes Lawd!, the first album by Anderson.Paak and Knxwledge as NxWorries, was released in 2016 via Sones Throw Records. The album’s debut track, “Suede,” reached at No. 59 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Since then, with the release of his solo albums Oxnard and Ventura on Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment, Anderson.Paak’s career has continued to grow.
However, the album he released in collaboration with Bruno Mars in 2021, titled An Evening with Silk Sonic, has been his biggest commercial success. It earned him four Grammy Awards, including the prestigious Record of the Year award for the song “Leave the Door Open.”
