After Signing An Empire Partnership, Hit Boy Introduces New Surf Club Signees

Hit-Boy Verifies Existence Of Different "Sicko Mode" Version Using Full Intro Beat

After signing a significant contract with Empire Publishing, the Hit-Surf Boy’s Club collective revealed its newest additions.

Gary “G Dav” Davis, Jesse “Dr. Blum” Blum, and Randy “Bandz” Holmes have reportedly joined the ranks of the Hit-Boy-founded company, Empire and Surf Club, according to Billboard.

Over the past few years, G Dav has amassed a long list of contributor credits on a number of important rap albums, including Nas’ King’s Disease, which earned him a Grammy for Best Rap Album. Bandz has been hailed for his writing skills over the years, contributing to tunes for Kamaiyah, OhGheesy, YG, and other artists. Dr. Blum, a multi-instrumentalist, has collaborated with many artists, including Big Sean and Rage Against the Machine.

Hit-Boy said in a statement that Surf Club’s decision to work with the label was the appropriate one to support the growth of the group, even though he is not personally signed with Empire for publishing administration and is still under his prior contract.

“We want to build the Surf Club up to be great, create outstanding pieces of work and music.” “I’ve been looking for a publishing situation for years, and Empire really made it happen,” Hit-Boy said.

“EMPIRE has long been in the business of pushing culture forward on a global scale, enabling recording artists to excel independently with its distribution and label services,” added EMPIRE’s Director of Business Affairs, Benedict Paz. “This partnership with a talent like Hit-Boy and the passionate individuals of the Surf Club team mirror that same ethos at EMPIRE Publishing and we are excited for what this is set to accomplish in the music publishing space.”

The thrilling news coincides with the renowned producer’s relentless hot run. Hit-Boy previously announced in January that he would shortly release Victims & Villains, a collaboration double album with R&B icon Musiq Soulchild.
