Adidas Highlights The Superstar Sneaker's Legacy And Updates In A New Campaign Featuring Artists Across Music And Sports.

Adidas has launched a new campaign titled “Superstar, The Original,” spotlighting the legacy and reinvention of the iconic Superstar sneaker. Narrated by Samuel L. Jackson, the campaign unfolds through two short films, Pyramids and Clocks, blending cinematic and surreal elements. Directed by Thibaut Grevet, the visuals feature artists like Missy Elliott, Jennie, GloRilla, Anthony Edwards, and Teezo Touchdown. The campaign aims to highlight timeless creativity and cultural influence.

The Superstar II returns in classic black/white and white/black colorways, alongside a refreshed version of the Firebird Tracksuit. The updated designs feature cleaner uppers and refined lines while maintaining the original three-stripe identity.

Over the years, the Superstar has remained a key part of culture — from Run-DMC’s “My Adidas” to Pharrell’s Supercolor Pack — and continues to be a versatile choice across music, sports, and streetwear.

“Superstar, The Original” celebrates the sneaker’s impact across generations, showing how the silhouette remains relevant through evolving trends and creative expressions.
